There’s nothing like going down an aisle at the grocery store and seeing current products wearing retro labeling. Even if the contents have been completely modernized, it’s just heartwarming to find a favorite food looking as it did when you first fell in love with it.
The bad thing is that often companies make these limited edition items available only to specific outlets. Take the items in this photo, for example. All but one item was found yesterday at my local Target store; to find the Heinz ketchup, I had to visit Walmart. To be fair, the Doritos and Pepsi can be found at both stores, but the cereal is a Target exclusive. Now, had I the time to nose around, I would have located a retro version of Pringle’s potato crisps, too.
